The Hackles version trades electric guitar for trumpet, violin & clarinet while honoring the crooked timing & immediacy of the original. “Houses” features Halli Anderson on vocals & violin, Hazel Ydstie on vocals, Olaf Ydstie on drums, Bart Budwig on trumpet & group vocals, along with Jen Borst.
